A resolution condemning Germany for its anti-Jewish legislation and asking the League of Nations and all member governments to intervene effectively to secure the restoration of social and political rights for the Jews in Germany, was adopted here today at the Congress of the Federation of League of Nations Societies.
The resolution was adopted despite the protest of the German delegates who left the Congress yesterday in demonstration against a decision to discuss the Jewish question at this session.
HUNGARY ALONE OPPOSES
Delegations from eleven countries voted for the resolution. The delegation from Hungary alone voted against it. The Hungarian delegation contended that the resolution could not be voted upon because of the absence of the German representatives.
The resolution was submitted by Dr. Ben-Zion Mossinson, a delegate of the Palestine League of Nations Societies. Other members of the Palestine delegation include Dr. Nahum Goldmann, Dr. Nathan Feinberg, S. Hoofien and A. Tolkowsky.
