The sum of $1,000 is left in the will of the late Max Fertig of Mount Vernon to defray the expenses of a legal suit that may be involved to prevent the installation of an organ in the synagogue of Congregation Emanu-El of Mount Vernon.

The estate is divided among the widow and four children. Should the children or their descendants marry out of the Jewish faith they forfeit their share in the estate.
