Legacies in the amount of $4800 go to nine institutions in the will of the late Mrs. Pauline May who left an estate valued at $500,000.
The institutions benefiting are: The Brooklyn Hebrew Orphan Asylum, and its women’s auxiliary and the women’s auxiliary of the Jewish Hospital of Brooklyn, which receive $1000 each; the Ladies Hebrew Benevolent Society, United Jewish Aid Societies and Sisterhood of Congregation Shaaray Tefila. $500 each; the Ladies Aid Society of the Sanitarium for Hebrew Children, Ladies Auxiliary Society of the Home for Aged and Infirm, The Child Welfare, Inc. $100 each.
Seventeen employes receive $250 each for every year of their service in the will of Joseph Schanz.
