Five U.S. Senators and 15 members of the House, who were in New York this weekend to study the United Nations, met today with Chaim Herzog, Israel’s Ambassador to the United Nations. The study group was reportedly impressed by the Israeli envoy. The group had earlier met with UN Secretary General Kurt Waldheim; the U.S. Ambassador, Daniel P. Moynihan; the Ambassador from Sri Lanka, representing the Third World; the Argentine Ambassador, representing Latin America; the British Ambassador, representing Western Europe; and the Egyptian Ambassador.
