Leon Dulzin, acting chairman of the Jewish Agency and World Zionist Organization Executives, said here that the financially troubled Argentine Jewish community has the material and human resources to become self-sufficient but needed to free itself from the traditionally narrow frame of its leadership spectrum and put the general interest and welfare of the community above petty party politics. In a special statement to the JTA, Dulzin called for a basic re-organization of Jewish institutional life in Argentina and the incorporation into its leadership circles of many who are now only marginally involved.
