A report on the situation of the Jews in the Free City of Danzig, now dominated by the Nazis but under the supervision of the League of Nations, was submitted today to the Council of the League of Nations by Sean Lester, the League High Commissioner for Danzig.
In his report at today’s session of the Council, Mr. Lester informed the members of the League of Nations of the negotiations which he carried on with the Danzig Senate in order to dispel the uneasiness felt by the Jewish population of that city.
