A number of Liberal and Laborite members of Parliament united today in efforts to bring up a motion on Palestine, which may come up in next week’s Parliamentary debate on foreign affairs.
The motion expresses anxiety “over the continued and unsatisfactory situation” in Palestine and calls on the British Government to support, in the United Nations, a settlement which will ensure speedy international recognition of Israel “so that the boundaries problem will be settled equitably for both Jews and Arabs.”
