Libya is trying to acquire nuclear capability from North Korea and Pakistan, according to Israeli officials. “We would not be surprised if Tripoli becomes the first Arab regime to have the bomb,” a source close to Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon said Tuesday, adding that Libya is believed to be seeking the know-how to build its own reactor, rather than a ready-made nuclear device.
