July 3 has been set as the opening date of the seventy-first annual convention of District Grand Lodge No. 4 of the B’nai B’rith, to be held for three days in Vancouver, B.C.
Already the general committee, meeting here frequently, is making elaborate preparations for the coming convention, which promises to be one of the most important ever held in this district. A special train will take the delegates from San Francisco and the bay cities.
District No. 4 embraces all the subordinate lodges in California, Oregon, Washington, British Columbia, Montana, Utah, Idaho and Nevada.
Many vital problems effecting the Jewish problem of today are due for consideration at the convention.
