Likud Party officials in Israel reportedly proposed rotating the premiership between Ariel Sharon and Benjamin Netanyahu if the party wins the next national elections. Likud members close to Prime Minister Sharon made the proposal for fear of a rupture in the party should Netanyahu, a former prime minister, decide to run for the party leadership, the daily Ha’aretz reported.
