Birthday felicitations from many parts of the country came to Lillian D. Wald, who celebrated her sixty-seventh birthday at home with a few close friends.

She received telegrams from President and Mrs. Roosevelt, Governor Lehman, Raymond Fosdick, Henry Morgenthau, Mr. and Mrs. Felix M. Warburg, the Henry Street Settlement Alumni, the National Federation of Settlements, the National Consumers League, U.S. Senator Robert F. Wagner, the Child Labor Committee and the Foreign Policy Association.
