Dr. Walter E. List, superintendent of the Minneapolis General Hospital for the past ten years, has resigned to become superintendent of the Jewish hospital at Cincinnati, his former home. The resignation of the Jewish physician was declared a “serious loss to the city” by Mayor Kunze. The Jewish hospital, of which Dr. List will become head, is one of the largest private institutions in Ohio. From 1908 to 1914 Dr. List served as resident physician and assistant superintendent of the Longview Insane hospital at Cincinnati. For the next six years he was assistant superintendent of the general hospital at Cincinnati. Dr. List came to Minneapolis on January 15, 1920.
In an editorial this morning the Minneapolis Tribune voiced its regret that Dr. List had resigned.
