Mrs. Nathan L. Goldstein, newly elected president of the women’s division of the Brooklyn Federation of Jewish Charities, yesterday announced the activities the group will undertake during the coming year.

The program, Mrs. Goldstein declared, will engage the efforts of hundreds of women in the borough. Board members of constituent agencies of the Federation, as well as women active in organizations not affiliated with Federation, will be mobilized for the ###clear> asked ahead, she announced.

LUNCHEON APRIL 10

The activities planned include the following:

The annual luncheon at the Hotel St. George, April 10, under chairmanship of Mrs. Harry Schlein; a country club fete, under direction of Mrs. Samuel Salzman and Mrs. Allan D. Emil; thrift shops headed by Mrs. Samuel Pearlman, Mrs. Charles H. Fier, Mrs. J. K. Colman, Mrs. Phillip Brenner, Mrs. Abraham Pariser and Mrs. J. D. Posner; department store promotion under the chairmanship of Mrs. Meier Steinbrink and Mrs. Henry Broder; an intensive membership drive organized on a zone basis with Mrs. M. D’lugasch, Mrs. Meyer Goldstein, Mrs. Henry Kresky and Mrs. Isaac Meyer assisting.

At the present time Mrs. Goldstein, who has inaugurated a new presidential policy of being at her division’s headquarters two full days a week, is organizing a committee of 100 women for special solicitation in connection with the forthcoming Federation campaign. Chairman of this committee will be Mrs. Benjamin Spitzer. North Shore activities have been organized under the chairmanship of Mrs. Fred S. Radnitz.

Members of the committee which is charged with arranging the April 10 luncheon will be entertained this afternoon at a reception and tea at the Hotel St. George.
