Mail communications between Poland and Lithuania, which were suspended ten years ago when Polish troops seized Wilno and which were never resumed, will begin to function once more as a result of the visit of Anatol Muehlstein, Polish Jewish diplomat, to the Lithuanian capital, Kaunas, the Polish government announced today.
The Jewish diplomat was received today by Marshal Pilsudski, Polish dictator, to whom a report was submitted.
Dr. Muehlstein, long a distinguished figure in Polish diplomatic circles, is Polish Ambassador to France. Two years ago he married one of the French Rothschilds.
Unconfirmed reports are being circulated here that Muehlstein will shortly be nominated Polish envoy to Lithuania.
