Thousands of Lithuanian Jews are storming the shipping company offices here that book passages for South Africa, in order to reach South Africa before May 1, when the new restrictive quota law that admits but 50 immigrants a year from East European countries goes into effect. The total number of Jews leaving here for South Africa during the month of February set a record.
