A new law which is definitely designed to decrease the number of Jewish lawyers in Lithuania was passed here today. Under provisions of the measure the Minister of Justice is authorized, at his own discretion to strike out the names of any lawyer from the list of those eligible to practice.
It is estimated that at least thirty Jewish lawyers are in danger of losing their means of livelihood.
