An assurance that the anti-Semitic excesses in Lithuanian towns and villages will be stopped was given by Prime Minister Woldemaras.
The minister made the statement in an interview with the representative of the “Yiddishe Stimme.” Yiddish daily in Kovno which published a protest against the government for allowing the excesses to continue.
