President Smetana today conferred upon two military aviation engineers, Adolf Blumenthal and Jacob Medzhanski, and upon Wolf David the high Lithuanian order Gedimin in connection with celebrations of Lithuania’s independence.
Mr. David, who is eighty years old, was cited for his services to Lithuanian culture, for which he was active even under the Russian Czar when the Lithuanian language was prohibited.
