Rabbi Baruch Halevi Horowitz of Aleskott, Lithuania, head of the Slobodka Yeshiva, and Rabbi Isaac Ogulnick of Passwol, Lithuania, arrived in New York on the Majestic. They were met at the pier by Orthodox rabbis and lay leaders.
The purpose of their visit is to seek financial support for the Slobodka Yeshiva. Rabbi Horowitz is the president of the Union of Rabbis in Lithuania.
