Isser Bear Wolf, one of the best known Zionist workers in Lithuania, for many years active in the Chovevei Zion and later in the Zionist movement, celebrated here his eightieth birthday. Mr. Wolf is one of the most prominent men in the Jewish community of Kovno. He is blind now, but in spite of this is still actively engaged in communal work.
He received numerous messages of congratulation from Jewish and non-Jewish institutions and personages, including the Mayor of Kovno and the Kovno Jewish communal organization.
