The Jewish Community of Lodz, which has an Agudist majority, Deputy Minzberg, one of the Agudist leaders being its President, has made use of Paragraph 20 of the new Jewish Community election regulations enacted by the Government in order to take away the right of membership and of standing for re-election from all the Bundist and Poale Zionist members of the Board of the Community, in each case quoting occasions on which they had described themselves as Konfessionslos, to justify its action.
