Special arrangements have been completed by the Anglo-Palestine club here to send food parcels to Palestine prisoners of war held by the Germans or Italians, it was announced here today. Details of the plan were not made public.
In the House of Commons today, David Adams, Laborite M.P., queried Under-Secretary for Colonies MacMillan as to whether the special facilities which are available to colonies wishing to petition Parliament could be extended to Palestine. Macmillan, replying, stated that such petitions can be transmitted through the Palestine High Commissioner and the Colonial Secretary.
