The Marquess of Reading, former British Foreign Secretary, accompanied by Lady Reading will come to New York next month, it was announced here yesterday.
Lord Reading has accepted an invitation to address the American Bar Association on October 14th in Washington.
He will also participate in the ceremonies attendant upon the laying of the foundation stone of the new Supreme Court Building.
The visit is to be of a purely personal nature. The press here emphasizes that Lord Reading has no authority from the government to negotiate regarding any political or economic questions affecting British and American relations.
