Lord Harry Snell, former Under Secretary of State for India, and author of the minority report of the Shaw Commission, who is now on a visit to this country, will deliver a lecture this morning at the Brooklyn Academy of Music on “Zionism and the Revival of Anti-Semites.”
Lord Snell, who is a member of the British Labor Party, was sent to Palestine, after the Arab riots of 1929, as a member of the Shaw Commission to investigate the occurrences on the scene. He objected to the findings of the Commission, which were severely criticized when published, and wrote a minority report, evincing sympathy and understanding of the Jewish position in Palestine.
