The Jewish community of Los Angeles observed the anniversary of the death of the one hundred and twenty-five Jewish victims of Arabian riots, at a memorial meeting held at Temple Sinai, Wednesday evening, August 27, under the auspices of the Zionist District, the Mizrachi Organization, and the Poale Zionists of Los Angeles. Aaron Riche, president of the Zionist District, presided.
The program was prepared by Mr. Riche, M. Tannenbaum, president of the Mizrachi, and Dr. Nathan S. Saltzman, president of the Poale Zionists. Rabbi Raphael Gold, of Dallas, Texas, and Dr. Louis G. Reynolds, well known orator and Hebrew scholar, were among the principal speakers.
