The Jewish Community Foundation of the Jewish Federation-Council of Greater Los Angeles has received a bequest of $65,226.99 from the estate of the late Margaret Weil, it was announced today by Lawrence E. Irell, chairman of the foundation’s board of governors.
Mrs. Well, who died on Nov. 21, 1962, was born in Berlin, Germany, and resided in Vienna, Austria, for many years. After arriving in the United States and settling in Los Angeles, she became a member of the Sunset chapter of ORT.
