The State Board of Education and the State Curriculum Commission today took under consideration a proposal to have Bible study courses in public schools. Testifying against the measure was Joseph Roos, executive director of the Community Relations Committee of the Jewish Community Council. Rabbi Ernest Trattner, of a local Reform temple; suggested that there be teaching in the basic principles of all of the great world religions.
