A 97-member mission sponsored by the Los Angeles United Jewish Welfare Fund, left this weekend for Israel and Europe to study at first hand the philanthropic programs supported by the fund.
The members of the group, which includes the top volunteer leadership of the welfare fund campaign, will review the operations in Europe and Israel of the Joint Distribution Committee and other welfare organizations. They will meet with JDC executives in Geneva and with top Israeli officials.
