A dinner in honor of Louis Marshall, president of the American Jewish Committee, will be given on Tuesday by the Russian Jewish community in Paris. Among the sponsors of the dinner is Heinrich Sliosberg.
Mr. Marshall called on Baron Edmond de Rothschild. Mr. Marshall expressed satisfaction with his attitude toward the Palestine work and hopes the non-Zionists will reach an agreement with the Zionist Organization on the work. Mr. Marshall stated he is personally prepared to work on the basis of the experts’ report.
The present situation in the Zionist Organization of America is viewed by Mr. Marshall with much interest. He will sail for America on July 13.
