The Lubavitcher movement has opened a new facility adjacent to the campus of the University of California at Los Angeles which will be open 24 hours a day to serve the thousands of Jewish students on the UCLA campus. The facility includes a synagogue for daily prayer and has a kosher kitchen and snack bar.
Rabbis S. D. Raichik and S. Cunin, who will direct its activities, said the center, which has a large Jewish library, will sponsor a wide variety of educational programs. They said its counselling and guidance services would be available to anyone needing them.
