Dr. Alexander Lyons of Brooklyn will conduct a religious meeting at the Temple of the Covenant on Friday, taking for his theme “The Necessity for Religious Recovery.”
The meeting is one of a number arranged by the Union of American Hebrew Congregations to foster interest in Jewish religious problems and institutions such as Hebrew Union College.
Rabbi B. A. Tintner of the Temple of the Covenant, and John F. Stern, president of the congregation, also will take part in the program.
Three large congregations will join in a similar meeting at Har Sinai Congregation, Baltimore, with Dr. Harold Korn, second vice-president of Temple Israel, New York, in the pulpit.
