The presidium of the German Maccabi Association today issued an order forbidding all contests between Maccabi clubs and clubs owing allegiance ‘to the Union of Jewish Ex-Soldiers. The Maccabi Association also ordered its groups not to participate in sport festivals in which teams of the Union were represented.
This drastic step, the Maccabi ruling body declared, is the result of internal disagreements between the two Jewish sport groups and is intended to prevent undesirable incidents.
At the same time the Maccabi Association lodged a complaint against the veterans with the All-German Jewish Representative Body, the central association of all German Jewish bodies.

The Boro Park chapter of the Daughters of Zion Hebrew Day and Night Nursery will hold its third annual dansant and entertainment at the Menora Masonic Temple on Saturday evening, May 5. Among the entertainers are Benny Leonard, Bert King, Ray Gohen, Jackie Gold and Nat Kents.
