Before Parliament adjourns for the Christmas recess, Colonial Secretary Malcolm MacDonald will announce a date, probably the second week in January, for the conferences on Palestine, it was learned tonight by the Havas News Agency. Nearly all the Arab governments invited to the conference have already sent their acceptances, with the proviso that the Holy Land’s Arabs should have adequate representation. The Jewish Agency for Palestine, it was learned today, has approached the Agudath Israel, non-Zionist religious organization, on the question of participation in the forthcoming Palestine conferences here.
