High Commissioner Sir Harold A. MacMichael today telegraphed condolences to the Tel Aviv Municipal Council on the death of Deputy Mayor Dov Hos in an auto accident on Sunday. Tens of thousands of persons, including delegations from all over the country, attended his funeral on Monday. The only eulogy was delivered by Berl Katznelson, editor of the Hebrew laborite daily Davar.
Isaac Ben-Yaacob, head of the Jewish Agency’s Aviation Department, killed in the same accident, was buried at the Dagania colony. The entire press, including Arab newspapers, paid warm tribute to him.
