A $2,000,000 campaign for overseas relief was ##hed here during the week-end by the United Jewish Relief Agencies of Canada at national meeting of the U. J. R. A. and the Canadian Jewish Congress.
Samuel Bronfman, president of the Congress, declared that the Jewish communi## of Montreal, Toronto and Winnipeg have decided to increase their quota because ## the extreme needs of the Jews abroad, Mr. Bronfman announced his personal contribution of $125,000 to be made through the Combined Jewish Appeal of Montreal and the ##wish Welfare Funds of Toronto and Wiunipeg. Edward M. M. Warburg, chairman of the ##int Distribution Committee, was one of the speakers at the conference.
