Postal authorities started an investigation today into mail received by a Coral Gables Jewish businessman containing violent anti-Jewish propaganda.
Samuel Blair said he received an envelope with a Miami postmark in which a dollar sign had been substituted for the first letter of his first name, followed by a hammer and sickle and a Star of David. Mr. Blair said he felt the “decorations” should have “caught some official’s eye before it got to me.” The envelope contained anti-Jewish propaganda material including a pamphlet signed by George Rockwell, founder of the American Nazi party.
