Jacob Fishman, editor of the Jewish Morning Journal, was to sail for Spain on the Conte di Savoia yesterday (Saturday) as the representative of the American Jewish Congress at the Cordova celebration of the 800th anniversary of the birth of Maimonides.
Fishman will present to the Spanish government an illuminated scroll conveying the greetings of American Jews.
The celebration will take place March 25 to 30 at Cordova, the birthplace of the renowned Jewish philosopher.
