Major Jewish Organizations Announce Participation in National Planning Parley

Thirty-three major Jewish organizations, whose membership constitutes a majority of the 5,000,000 Jews in the United States, today announced their active participation in the National Planning Conference for Israel ## Jewish Rehabilitation, which will be held in Washington October 27-29. The list is still incomplete.

The National Planning Conference, which will be the most representative Jewish assembly ever held in the United States, will formulate a three-year program of financial assistance to Israel on an unprecedented scale. The three-day conference ## the result of the conference held last month with Prime Minister David Ben Gurion ##d other top Israel Government officials on the economic problems confronting the state of Israel.

Among the organizations which have already named delegates to the National planning Conference Steering Committee are: Achdut Haavodah Poale Zion; American Jewish Committee; American Jewish Congress; American-Jewish Joint Distribution Committee; American ORT Federation; American Zionist Council; B’nai B’rith; B’nai Zion; ?rith Sholom; Farband-Labor Zionist Order; Free Sons of Israel; Hadassah; Hapoel ?amizrachi of America; Independent Order B’rith Abraham; Industrial Institute of Israel; Jewish Agency for Palestine, American Section; Jewish Labor Committee; Jewish War Voterans of the U.S.A.

Labor Zionist Organization of America – Poale Zion; Mizrachi Organization of America; Mizrachi Women’s Organization of America; National Women’s League of United ?ynagogue; Palestine Economic Corporation; Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America; United Jewish Appeal; United Palestine Appeal; United Service for New Americans; United Synagogue of America; University Institute Technion; Women’s American ORT; Women’s Branch, Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations; Women’s Division, Amorican Jewish Congress; and Zionist Organization of America.
