Major Julius I. Peyser, president of the District of Columbia Bar Association, was honored by a special reference in the annual report of the Board of Directors of the Association at the conclusion of his year’s term of office, stating that “Major Julius I. Peyser retires as our president with a record for loyalty and usefulness to the general welfare of the Association which is surpassed by none.”
Major Peyser has been the recipient of a series of recent distinctions. He was elected national vice-president of the American Bar Association at its last convention, and has just been chosen one of the five American delegates to the Amateur Athletic Union. The Major was also recently elected vice-president of the Federation Internallie des Anciens Combattants, the international organization of World War veterans.
