Plans for calling the first world congress of Sephardic Jews were adopted here today at a congress of representatives of Sephardic communities from Jugo-Slavia, Italy, Bulgaria, Greece and the Near East. Resolutions adopted call for the establishment of Sephardic organizations, the intensive development of a national religious, social and economic life among the Sephardic Jews, pledged support to the Jewish Agency for Palestine and other national institutions actively engaged in the establishment of the Jewish National Home and strongly protested against the suspension of immigration to Palestine.
