The Mandates Commission of the League of Nations opened its session here yesterday in the presence of special representatives of England and France. The various reports concerning Palestine, from the Palestine Administration and Mr. Ormsby Gore, will be taken up by the Commission on October 23.
The report on the situation in Syria, which is under French Mandate, will also be discussed. General Weygand, the French High Commissioner of Syria will be present.
