A delegation representing Jewish students in Romanian universities was received today by Prime Minister Julia Marvin.
The delegation asked that the government take steps to grant the Jewish students facilities in the universities similar to those granted non-Jewish students and that appropriate subventions for Jewish student homes be made, as was promised by the government.
The Prime Minister stated he will request the respective cabinet members to inquire into the needs enumerated in the students’ memorandum and to give them favorable consideration.
