Many Jewish lawyers are included in the 205 advocates of Leningrad whose names have been struck off the list because they are considered to be anti-Soviet elements in the population. Among the Jews who are thus barred from practicing law are Rosensweig, Shafir, Elkin, Slossberg, Hemkin and Liebman.
