Six are candidates for Congress, as follows: Fifteenth District, Republican ticket; Assistant Corporation Counsel Nathaniel H. Goldstick, Abraham E. Molodofsky, George Moskowitz and Harry L. Meyers; First District, Joseph Hershey, Democrat, Thirteenth District, Chester L. Schwartz, Democrat.
Melba L. Rubin is one of the few women candidates in the contest for the Republican nomination for State Senator in the Fourth District. Other candidates for the State Senate are: Dr. Albert Krohn, Democrat, Fourth District; I. Goodman Cohen, Democrat, Third District; Herman H. Greenberg, James A. Kates and Samuel W. Leib, Fifth District, Republican; Maurice Bordelove, Charles S. Blondy and David Berger, Democrats, Fifth District.
The following are candidates for the State Legislature: Democratic ticket, Herman Kramer, Louis J. Schneider; Republican, Albert Gutman, Harry N. Grossman, A. C. Lappin.
Dr. Albert C. Hamburger is a candidate for Coroner on the Democratic ticket. Judge Joseph Sanders and S. Baer Reidan are candidates for Probate Court on the Democratic ticket. Former Sheriff Henry Behrendt is candidate for Sheriff on the Republican ticket. Samuel S. Goodman is Republican candidate for Road Commissioner.
