The freshman class of Hunter College includes students born in Hungary, Esthonia, Russia and the British West Indies, and others who have lived in Palestine, France and Turkey, according to replies received to a questionnaire submitted by the Journalism Club.

Abraham Schreiner, nineteenth century Galician Jew, discovered petroleum on a piece of land he owned near Boryslaw in 1853, but he died poor just the same.
