Marwan Barghouti remained defiant in the summation of his murder trial in Tel Aviv. The Palestinian militia leader, who has refused to recognize Israel’s authority to try him since he was captured in 2002, nonetheless addressed the court on Monday. Dismissing charges that he orchestrated terrorist attacks that claimed 26 lives, Barghouti said the Palestinian uprising would prevail.
