The United States is the only country, with the exception of Palestine, where a Jew can live a completely Jewish life,” declared Zvi Hirsch Masliansky, 80-year-old dean of American Zionists, at a meeting of the American Jewish Association here. Mr. Masliansky recently came here from New York to live.
He asserted that the basis of Zionist operations must be in the United States, where the Jewish center of gravity lies. He cited the fact that four and a half million Jews live in the United States.
He lauded the support that American Jews are giving to Zionist work in Palestine.
