Because the community regarded them with suspicion, the Swastika Club of the Mt. Bellingham Church changed its name. The organization, an active charitable and religious group, has been in existence for many years.
Learning of the connection with Hitlerism and the persecution of Jews the members decided to alter the name of the club at once.
