Governor Alvan T. Fuller of Massachusetts received the British Zionist Federation debating team and the Boston debaters of the Avukah yesterday afternoon.
The campaign for $150,000 for the erection of a new Jewish Community Center in Plainfied. N. J., was launched by the Y. M. and Y. W. H. A. At the opening banquet $64,200 was announced as pledged. Among the pledges were $5,000 by Felix Fuld. Ben Bronston, Adolph Tepper. A. Kantor and Max Tepper; $2,500 was pledged by Judge William Newcorn and $2,000 by B. Weintraub.
