Official Soviet circles declared today that baking of matzoth has begun in special Government bakeries in Moscow, Leningrad and other large cities. The baking, it was stated, is being done in accordance with Jewish ecclesiastical law, thus setting a precedent in the Soviet, since religious supervision of work in State-operated enterprises has hitherto been prohibited.
